About Sereia Consulting
Sereia Consulting is a single-member LLC specializing in Linux infrastructure consulting. We partner with companies to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade computing environments that form the foundation of their technical operations.
Our Approach
We believe great infrastructure is invisible — it simply works. Our engagements focus on building systems that are:
Reliable — Architected for high availability with proper redundancy, monitoring, and failover capabilities.
Secure — Designed with security as a fundamental requirement, not an afterthought, implementing defense-in-depth strategies throughout the stack.
Scalable — Built to grow with your business, avoiding technical debt and allowing for expansion without major redesigns.
Maintainable — Documented thoroughly and configured logically, enabling your team to understand and manage the systems we build.
Technical Philosophy
We maintain vendor neutrality and recommend solutions based on technical merit, cost-effectiveness, and long-term viability. Our recommendations consider the total cost of ownership, including hardware, software, maintenance, and your team’s time.
When evaluating technologies, we prioritize:
- Proven stability over bleeding-edge features
- Open standards over proprietary lock-in
- Operational simplicity over unnecessary complexity
- Performance appropriate to your actual requirements
Working With Us
Our engagements typically include:
Assessment & Planning — Understanding your current environment, requirements, and constraints to develop appropriate solutions.
Design & Architecture — Creating detailed technical designs that address your needs while considering budget, timeline, and operational capabilities.
Implementation & Deployment — Hands-on work building and configuring systems, managing vendor relationships, and coordinating installations.
Documentation & Training — Providing comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer to ensure your team can effectively manage the infrastructure.
Ongoing Support — Available for retainer-based maintenance, troubleshooting, and expansion projects as your needs evolve.
